About the Opportunity

This is a key leadership role working across Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg and Werribee Mercy Hospital.

As an expert clinical advisor, you will develop educational strategies related to Resuscitation.

You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to coordinate multidisciplinary education programs aligning with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

You will also lead quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse Division One with AHPRA
  • Post-Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years clinical experience in critical care
  • ARC Course Instructor (desirable)
  • Experience in assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs
  • Post-Graduate qualification in education
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Current accredited Advanced Life Support Adult and Paediatric certification
  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care
Additional Requirements:
  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
