Interim Management Accountant Opportunity

The role of Interim Management Accountant involves providing expert financial support to an organisation during a period of significant change. As a trusted advisor, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the business's fixed asset register, investigating queries and discrepancies, and preparing journal entries for technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of the fixed asset register, including acquisitions, disposals, and adjustments
  • Investigate fixed asset queries and reconcile asset records to the general ledger
  • Support audits and reviews through documentation and issue resolution
  • Prepare and review journal entries for technical accuracy and completeness
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Workday journal processing and provide guidance across the team
  • Investigate financial data discrepancies and execute corrective transactions as needed

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a technically strong qualified accountant (CA / CPA / CIMA) with Workday experience to showcase their skills in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, excellent time management and prioritisation skills, and strong written communication skills.

  • Proven experience in a management accounting or fixed asset accounting role
  • Workday Finance experience (mandatory)
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large volumes of financial data
  • Solid time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong written communication, including financial documentation
