Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to lead the development and implementation of category strategies for asset investments and capital spend.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in category management, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels.

About The Position

This is a newly created role that reflects the growth and positive changes our procurement team is bringing to the organization.

You will join a great team and bring your expertise in creating new procurement processes and systems alongside a background in assets and a strong knowledge of category management.

This position requires strong analytical capabilities to identify trends and drive data-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies for asset investments and capital spend
  • Analyze and forecast opportunities for value creation and cost reduction
  • Oversee the source-to-pay lifecycle for capital spend and asset investments
  • Identify key strategic suppliers and build relationships
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE IN CATEGORY MANAGEMENT
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementation
  • Ability to analyze complex data and drive business outcomes
