Procurement Strategist Role

The Procurement Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategy, driving value creation and cost reduction across asset investments and capital spend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies for asset investments and capital spend.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, forecasting, and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of capital spend and asset investments from source to delivery.
  • Establish strong relationships with key strategic suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive sourcing initiatives and gain buy-in.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in category management, with a proven track record of driving value creation and cost reduction.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementation.
