Shape the Future of Energy Infrastructure as an Asset Portfolio Strategist

Are you ready to lead billion-dollar investments and drive groundbreaking energy projects?

As the **Asset Portfolio Strategist**, you'll take charge of asset portfolio management and investment sponsorship, ensuring major projects, network augmentation, and EnergyCo initiatives are seamlessly integrated into the network.

**In this high-impact role, you'll**:

- Develop optimised commercial and technical solutions across the asset lifecycle.
- Lead Transgrid network inputs into contestable bids, collaborating with commercial teams, financial advisors, and clients.
- Ensure regulatory compliance while balancing asset risk, cost, and performance.
- Drive innovation in cost estimating, incorporating macroeconomic and market trends.
- Manage upstream contracts for operational projects, ensuring seamless execution.

You'll work closely with Executive Managers, Lumea, Major Project teams, Asset Managers, and Network Planning to shape the future of energy infrastructure.

**Academic Qualifications & Experience**
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Economics or equivalent.
- Experience in relevant infrastructure investment and portfolio management roles.

**Work Experience & Skills**
- Experience, ideally in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line, technical and commercial roles across the asset lifecycle, including concept development, design, construction, operations and maintenance
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures applicable to asset management of transmission infrastructure
- Knowledge of NEM development, including AEMO's ISP and NSW EII Roadmap
- Awareness of the NER and NSW Regulatory Frameworks, including the RIT-T, CPAs and TET
