Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Laboratory Supervisor to lead our laboratory operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the laboratory, ensuring that all testing is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of laboratory technicians to ensure timely completion of testing programs.
  • Manage laboratory equipment and supplies, maintaining accurate records of calibration and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with NATA requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with technical supervisors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct internal and external site visits to monitor quality assurance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in construction materials testing – concrete and aggregates.
  • Certificate III in Lab Operations or prior NATA signatory from an approved NATA laboratory.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to present complex data as actionable insights.
  • Proven people management experience with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
