Senior Laboratory Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Laboratory Professional to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing daily workload and ensuring all activities adhere to quality procedures manual.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a commercial laboratory and previous experience operating GC/FID, GCMS, or LCMSMS is required. A Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualification (Honours and Chemistry disciplines advantageous) is also essential.
You will be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and organic sample preparation techniques for environmental samples. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team will enable you to supervise and train laboratory staff, operate and maintain instrumentation, and report results in accordance with quality work instructions.

- Ensure compliance with laboratory's QC and HSE requirements, prepare standards for sample analysis, and maintain relevant documentation.
- At least 2 years' experience in a commercial laboratory.
- Previous experience operating GC/FID, GCMS, or LCMSMS required.
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent (Honours and Chemistry disciplines advantageous).
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and organic sample preparation techniques for Environmental samples.
