You will have the chance to lead a high-performing team and promote access and use of data for research, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Data and Research Governance Frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to coordinate data linkage projects, ethics applications, and governance processes.
  • Provide strategic guidance on data and research governance to stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and policymakers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of data and research governance activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and policymakers, to promote access and use of data for research.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Substantial experience in leading and managing in a research and/or data governance team in a health context.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in applying relevant legislation, standards, codes, and guidelines to data and research governance.
  • Experience in management or coordination of large data linkage projects, including management of ethics applications and governance processes.
