
Care Leadership Specialist

The role of Clinical Team Leader is to provide strategic direction and leadership for the aged care team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a team of clinical professionals to deliver high-quality resident care.
- Developing and implementing care plans that meet individual resident needs.
- Conducting staff competency assessments and contributing to staff training programs.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, including care plans, clinical assessments, and progress notes.
- Liaising with the Clinical Care Manager to ensure resident care outcomes are met.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an RN with no conditions.
- Experience in an aged care lead role, preferably in a similar setting.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC funding systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health & safety, infection control, and manual handling.
- Positive attitude towards working with the elderly.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, acts, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Strong computer literacy.
