Lead Aged Care Services

The role of Clinical Team Leader is to provide strategic direction and leadership for the aged care team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of clinical professionals to deliver high-quality resident care.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that meet individual resident needs.
  • Conducting staff competency assessments and contributing to staff training programs.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, including care plans, clinical assessments, and progress notes.
  • Liaising with the Clinical Care Manager to ensure resident care outcomes are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an RN with no conditions.
  • Experience in an aged care lead role, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC funding systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace health & safety, infection control, and manual handling.
  • Positive attitude towards working with the elderly.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, acts, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Strong computer literacy.
