About the Role

The Technical Support Officer position offers a unique opportunity to provide proactive, organized, and efficient administration services to the maintenance department.

This role involves logging daily labour, downtime, and equipment hours with planning software, processing and managing reports from Power BI and MEX, and assisting the Maintenance Planner with setting and delivery of weekly maintenance plans.

Key responsibilities also include liaising with Maintenance Manager for additional reporting, coordinating NDT scheduling and downloading reports, monitoring and coordinating EW cat systems for rigs, and ensuring quality-checked paperwork is filed correctly.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Logging daily labour, downtime, and equipment hours with planning software (MEX)
  • Processing and managing reports from Power BI and MEX
  • Assisting the Maintenance Planner with setting & delivery of weekly maintenance plan
  • Liaising with Maintenance Manager for any additional reporting required from Operations
  • Assisting with NDT scheduling and downloading of reports
  • Monitoring and coordinating the EW cat system for the rigs
  • Ensuring all paperwork has been quality checked before filing into Ventia documentation file

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have/demonstrate:

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Attention to quality
  • Highly organized with good attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Great communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with office and site personnel
