Senior Project Coordinator

This is a highly rewarding role for an experienced project coordinator who will be working closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of a major data centre project.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery from procurement through to commissioning and handover, leading, mentoring, and coordinating project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving skills is essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering mechanical/HVAC projects above $5m mechanical value. Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, solid understanding of project finance and budgeting are required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage all aspects of project delivery, including procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  2. Lead and mentor project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  3. Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
  4. Prepare and review project reporting, variations, and financial tracking.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in project management, particularly in the mechanical services sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of project finance and budgeting.

This is a mid-senior level full-time position with a competitive remuneration package up to $170k + super based on experience.
