We are seeking a skilled Construction Planning Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed construction programs, coordinating with project and site teams, and ensuring delivery timelines are met.

About the Role

In this critical role, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that each phase of construction is executed on time and on budget. Your expertise will drive construction planning and scheduling best practices using industry-leading software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, monitor and update detailed construction programs.
  • Integrate schedules with procurement, design, and subcontractor activities.
  • Work closely with site teams to track progress and adjust timelines accordingly.
  • Identify risks and delays early and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present planning reports, lookaheads and progress updates.
  • Participate in client and stakeholder planning meetings.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Construction Planner in the data centre or industrial construction sector.
  • Proven experience with data centre projects highly regarded.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle including design, procurement, and construction.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A relevant construction or engineering qualification preferred.
