Data Acquisition Specialist

Join our team as a Data Acquisition Specialist and play a critical role in shaping the future of safety technology. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading brands across multiple transport sectors and enhance safety through innovative solutions.

About the Role:

  • Gather data collection and labelling requirements from key stakeholders to inform design decisions.
  • Develop protocols for data collection and labelling, incorporating technical feedback from stakeholders.
  • Schedule and supervise data collection activities according to approved protocols.
  • Evaluate data collection props and equipment to ensure readiness for each data collection run.
  • Provide guidelines to technicians on setting up data collection setups and equipment.
  • Update dataset registries with relevant dataset characteristics information.
  • Manage participant data collection contracts and update registers with demographic details.
  • Leverage various data collection technologies to perform data collection tasks.
  • Evaluate data quality and provide feedback to internal teams or external suppliers.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering and writing technical documents/reports.
  • Ability to work with incomplete technical information.
  • Strong data management skills.
