Job Summary

The Library Collections team seeks a skilled Collection Management Officer to join our ranks.

This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with clients, internal staff and external agencies to identify, process and dispose of collection items. The ideal candidate will possess strong client focus, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collection Disposal: Identify, process and document collection items marked for disposal.
  • Binding Services: Oversee the binding of collection material, including complex tasks such as binding parliamentary publications.
  • Electronic Repository Management: Investigate and capture items suggested for addition to the electronic repository.
  • Data Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance of library collection and acquisitions records in the library management system.
  • Client Service Delivery: Liaise with clients, internal staff and external agencies to resolve issues related to library collection management.
