Machine Learning Expert Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to our Product Data Science team. As a Data Scientist, you will collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts to refine complex problems using scientific thinking, algorithms, and data analysis.

You will develop and operate beautiful, intelligent products that deliver exceptional user experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to delve into data, wrangle complex and messy data to enhance our shared understanding of the value contained in our data stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply sound scientific methods to drive product development, including model development, evaluation, and proof-of-concept design.
  • Lead in hypothesis-driven experimentation and deliver measurable impact through holdouts.
  • Maintain high personal coding standards and collaborate with scientists and engineers to produce robust and reproducible code.
  • Work together with engineers to maintain and operate end-to-end pipelines supporting data-intensive applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar analytics role.
  • Experience with data querying languages, scripting languages, and/or statistical/mathematical software.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to grasp mathematical concepts underlying data science domains. Strong communication skills to tailor messages for peers and stakeholders.
