Key Objectives:

  • Sustain the efficient, safe and competitive management of end-to-end materials transport in line with legislation and company's Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE) requirements.
  • Aggregate the Road Freight Demand across all demand sources, including Materials Planning, Projects, Rig Support and all other interfaces requiring road freight.
  • Optimise heavy vehicle usage across the business with a lean focus
  • Review and analysis of monthly transport invoices received.
  • Track transport budget spend and assist in the preparation and submission of operating budget proposals.

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of Freight Forwarding, Customs and Road Transport.
  • Proven experience optimising coordination of logistics and integrated scheduling activities.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, internal and external.
  • Commercial mindset for performance management, including utilisation.
  • Leadership in Safety.
  • Understanding of regulations and standards applicable to end-to-end material movements.
  • Able to learn various supply chain, planning and scheduling software.
