Job Title

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Radiographer in Charge to oversee the daily operational services at our Toowoomba Diagnostic Imaging clinic. This is an ideal position for an experienced Radiographer looking for their next career move, providing leadership and guidance to a team of 7 staff members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality and efficient imaging service for both our patients and referrers. They will also provide mentoring and management support to junior staff members, contributing to the growth and development of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operational services at the site, including managing expenditure and resources.
  • Ensure the operational efficiency of the site, acting on directives from a State/National level.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, including training and development opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Recruit and select new staff members, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and experience.
Requirements
  • Senior CT/General Radiographer or Imaging Manager with a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and organizational multitasking abilities.
  • Previous management experience is advantageous.
