Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Risk and Assurance and be responsible for maintaining and managing the risk and compliance frameworks. This includes providing guidance to the business and ensuring the effective maintenance of the risk and opportunity framework.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating a strong risk culture by embedding standard operational risk and opportunity management frameworks across all bids and projects.
  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of risk management software, including user access provisioning and management, end-user support and training, assisting in development of new modules, optimisation of system content, usage and processes.
  • Conduct independent operational reviews of projects to provide assurance to Leadership on progression and potential risks during both mobilisation and delivery phases.
  • Complete analysis of key metric indicators and operational risk to identify project trends and liaise with responsible parties to understand and monitor risk management strategies.
  • Maintain the compliance framework and programme, including conducting business ethics company and project audit and reviews on adherence to the Group Code of Conduct.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of three years' risk and compliance or project delivery experience, preferably within the construction and engineering industry.
  • Experience working in a large and complex organisation.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Sound experience with frameworks and policies.
  • Ability to read and interpret legislative changes into practice.
  • Technically strong with ability to use initiative.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills on all levels.
