Key Responsibilities

Risk and Compliance Manager (Insurance) Role

This role will see you working closely with internal and external compliance teams on a wide variety of financial services matters. You will assist in providing specialist, commercial compliance advice to enable our internal stakeholders and business partners to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

A summary of key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with policy implementation, procedure reviews and documentation
  • Conducting compliance assurance reviews and advising on process and control improvements
  • Embedding the compliance framework, including enhancing supervisory frameworks and implementing effective monitoring and testing activities
  • Assisting with incident management and compliance reporting
  • Providing compliance advice and sign-off on marketing materials

Requirements and Skills

Working in an Agile environment, you will be embedded in the operational excellence squad, supporting the Insurance Hub and Tribe. You will be expected to have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a risk and/or compliance role within the insurance industry
  • Excellent knowledge of Financial Services Law and General Insurance Code of Practice
  • Strong communication, facilitation and report writing skills
