Service Project Manager Role Overview

This position oversees project leadership throughout the entire project life cycle, supplying parts and services for hydroelectric power plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects including scheduling, budget, quality, EHS, reporting, risk management, and communication.
  • Support proposal preparation with Service Managers and Sales teams.
  • Manage project team members, site resources, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee transactions and maintain good relations with customers and internal teams.
  • Lead project execution, develop contingency plans, and create value-adding change orders.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support regional Service Managers and Business Development activities.
  • Identify and onboard workshops, service providers, and suppliers.
  • Build customer relationships and support local procedures, processes, and system development.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and entrepreneurial, with qualifications in Project Management and preferably a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Interfaces: Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, Logistics, Controlling, Sales, Commercial, and Field Service teams, as well as external customers, suppliers, partners, and consultants.
