Project Engineer - Hydroelectric Power
Job Summary:The Project Engineer - Hydroelectric Power is a key role in our business, responsible for delivering engineering and technical support on assigned projects related to hydroelectric power plant equipment installation, refurbishment, modernization, and maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:
- To provide engineering and technical services to the project team to ensure the successful execution of projects in accordance with customer requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- A qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the hydro power sector or supporting industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in software and tools such as CAD.
- Hands-on practical experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Highly developed report writing and technical capabilities.
Working Environment:
This role requires travel throughout Australia and New Zealand to work on customer/project sites in remote locations and follow up with suppliers, with the ability to work in industrial environments.
