Service Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Service Project Engineer to contribute to shaping the mega trend of decarbonization by joining one of the top players in the hydropower and renewable energies market.

This critical role is responsible for providing overall project Engineering and Technical Support on assigned projects in Australia and New Zealand related to hydroelectric power plant equipment installation, refurbishment, modernization, and R&M projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and supervision to the HyService team and customers throughout the life cycle of assigned projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during planning, construction, refurbishment, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
  • Prepare specifications for subcontracted works to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Develop repair methodologies.
  • Evaluate all engineering work for compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A self-motivated, reliable, and dynamic individual capable of leveraging relationships to deliver Engineering and Technical solutions.
  • Hold a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or possess equivalent industry experience with relevant work history.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the hydro power sector or a supporting industry.
