Risk Management Leader

At Insignia Financial, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Risk Management team. As the Head of Risk, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a robust risk culture and driving stronger risk outcomes for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a small team to provide Line 2 oversight of Insignia's Marketing, Brand, and Enablement Functions, including People & Culture, Legal, and Company Secretariat.
- Provide effective Line 2 review and challenge across Insignia's Enablement and Marketing business.
- Offer risk management expertise and best practice advice aligned to our risk frameworks and risk appetite.
- Oversee business planning activities and cultivate enduring relationships with the business.
- Promote improved risk management discussions and outcomes through your business influence and engagement.
- Collaborate with other Risk Management functions for end-to-end visibility.
- Contribute to the reporting process to Board and Board Committees.
- Significant experience in a similar role, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
- Deep knowledge of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the Financial Services sector.
- Ability to plan, lead, and execute activity across a team.
- Commercial acumen with strategic capability.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and report writing skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solve in a complex environment.
- Strong people leadership skills, demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others and foster a positive team environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, or a related discipline.
