In this role, you will contribute to solving our climate crisis by working closely with HR Manager and business leaders in Melbourne. This position is based in our Melbourne CBD office, offering flexible work arrangements and company novated car lease programs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Global HR Operations Specialist to join our fast-growing organization and drive end-to-end HR services in region Melbourne. You will report directly to the HR Manager and be responsible for implementing workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and other employee relations matters.

  • You will provide expert advice on employment legislation, HR system operations, HR policies, and processes, as well as maintain HRIS with new hires and employee data changes.
  • Support capability development initiatives, including training, and implement HR programs from the organizational strategy.

We require a strong ownership culture with the ability to work independently, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

A tertiary qualification in HR, industrial relations, business management, or law is essential, along with 3+ years' experience in a HR generalist role gained from a sizable company, ideally in Engineering or a similar field.

A successful candidate must have the ability to interpret and apply employment legislation, such as Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act, and preferably have experience with EBA establishment and execution.
