Job Description:
  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals for senior residents.
  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation in a commercial kitchen setting.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served safely and to the highest standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar qualification.
  • Food Handling and Hygiene certification.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferably within aged care or hospital settings.
  • Bulk cooking experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with texture-modified food is advantageous.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Ability to pass a police check.
  • Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations (minimum of 1 dose).
