Job Overview

This role involves supporting residents in daily tasks. The successful candidate will be part of the hotel services team, working closely with the Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service
  • Clean kitchen and dining room areas, including equipment, to maintain a safe environment.
  • Maintain High Standards of Quality
  • Support residents during meal times to promote social interaction and community engagement.

This is a physically demanding role that requires staff to perform tasks such as bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing while prioritizing their own safety and the safety of colleagues and residents.

About You / Qualifications:
  • A minimum of six months' experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in aged care.
  • Strong Awareness of Safety Protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated Care and Compassion
  • Flexibility with shift availability.
