About The Position
  • Support the Head Chef in preparing and cleaning the kitchen, ensuring seamless food preparation and service.
  • Supervise all food preparation to consistently deliver high-quality meals that meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to create diverse menus, recipes, and innovative dishes that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations.
  2. Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and maintaining high presentation standards.
  3. Strong leadership skills for mentoring junior staff and fostering a positive team environment.
  4. Responsible for inventory management, portion control, and minimizing waste.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, including a la carte kitchens and prep/function areas.
  • Knowledge of food quality control and strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Chef Trade qualifications and adaptability in various kitchen settings.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
