We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in Alice Springs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide culturally responsive high-quality speech pathology services for Aboriginal children, youth, and their families. This role supports children and youth living with disabilities, particularly neurodevelopmental disabilities such as Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This position is specific to the provision of assessment and therapeutic supports to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants. The role involves working primarily in Alice Springs, with occasional remote travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment and therapy services to support NDIS participants
  • Work collaboratively with families and community members to develop individualized plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of culturally responsive services
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Degree in Speech Pathology or related field
  • Experience working with Aboriginal communities and individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culturally sensitive and responsive approach
