Occupational Therapy Specialist

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Alice Springs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the Northern Territory's largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, delivering occupational therapy services that make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
About the RoleThe Occupational Therapist will provide culturally-responsive and safe occupational therapy services for clients within the Central Australian community, predominantly through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). The successful candidate will support clients to optimise self-care and participation in functional activities, enabling independence and social participation.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to clients in accordance with their needs and goals.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and cultures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A competitive salary package, including a base salary of $100,210 - $112,222 per annum.
