">The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Speech and Developmental Services Clinician to join our team in providing essential support to Aboriginal children and young people aged 0-18 and their families.
">This rewarding role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless assessment, treatment, management, and support to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for children with developmental and learning disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in optimising children's development and improving their quality of life.
">About You:
">We are looking for an experienced Speech Pathologist who can provide high-quality services that cater to the unique needs of our clients. As a Specialist Speech and Developmental Services Clinician, you will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including families, community members, and healthcare professionals.
">You will have a strong understanding of child development theories and practices, as well as experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children with complex needs. Your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities will be essential in delivering effective services that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Provide specialist speech and language therapy services to Aboriginal children and young people aged 0-18 and their families.
">- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and develop treatment plans for children with developmental and learning disorders.
">- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and service delivery.
">- Develop and maintain relationships with community members, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of NDIS services.
">- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to speech and language therapy services.
