About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Device Lead to join our team at the University of Southern Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the lifecycle of UniSQ endpoint devices from a software perspective, ensuring optimal performance, security and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Entire Lifecycle: Oversee the entire lifecycle of UniSQ endpoint devices from a software perspective, ensuring optimal performance, security and sustainability.
  • Evaluate and Optimise SOE: Work with current ICT team members to evaluate and optimise a future Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for UniSQ, including Windows 11 and Mac operating systems.
  • Labs and Virtual Lab Solutions: Take a lead role in evaluating the RDP Lab and Turbo virtual lab solutions, focusing on resilience, reporting and maximising utilisation for our staff and student cohort.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in the provision of hardware and software support services in a large organisation.
  • Expertise: Expertise with deployment tools such as Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Jamf, and PowerShell.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, manage projects, and implement process improvements.
About the Opportunity

This full-time continuing appointment offers a total remuneration range of $129,036 to $148,172 per annum, including salary, employer super contributions and annual leave loading. You will be based at Toowoomba, Springfield or Ipswich campus, with occasional travel to other campuses.
