Claims Governance Specialist

At AIG, we're reimagining insurance to make a bigger difference in the world. As a Claims Governance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in shaping our claims handling experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Governance Framework structure and maintenance
- Responsible document owner of process and procedure capture, review, and updating
- Responsible person for change management on new or changes of process and procedure
- Ensure the reporting requirements can be met through data capture and extraction to meet the requirements
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of regulatory environments
- Previous experience in a similar role with proven capabilities in Insurance
- Ability to solve problems and develop new ideas to improve working practices
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Awareness of industry practices surrounding insurance claims management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages – Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Time management – ability to handle multiple priorities, organize work, and meet deadlines
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, brokers, and clients. If you're a self-starter with a passion for governance and regulatory frameworks, we'd love to hear from you.
