We're seeking highly motivated Sales Assistants to work on a casual basis in our Tuggeranong store.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A genuine customer service focus, ensuring every interaction exceeds expectations
  • High levels of motivation and proactivity, driving sales and achieving results
  • Integrity and honesty in all aspects of their work
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels
  • Calm composure under pressure, maintaining a high level of performance

  • An eye for detail, ensuring accurate and efficient work practices
  • A hands-on approach, embracing opportunities to learn and grow
  • At least two years' experience working with a high-volume, disciplined retailer
  • Strong merchandising skills, maximizing sales and product visibility
  • A commitment to providing exceptional care for pets

To be successful, you must be reliable, determined to meet high standards, and willing to be flexible regarding working days and hours. You may also be required to lift heavy items (e.g., bags of dog food).

We're looking for individuals who want to grow with the business and are committed to working collaboratively to achieve results. Experience or knowledge in the pet industry is highly regarded.

As a Sales Assistant at Petbarn, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, build meaningful relationships with customers, and contribute to the success of our team.

Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
