We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Parent/Carer Mentor to provide individualized support and guidance to parents, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their employment and educational goals.
The ideal candidate will have personal lived experience in parenting or family support, along with relevant professional experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to connect with diverse families and foster a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities include providing mentorship to parents, facilitating workshops and group sessions, developing educational materials, and collaborating with community organizations.
Required skills and qualifications include strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Familiarity with community resources and support systems is also beneficial.
