Property Analyst Role Overview

About the Property Team:
Our team looks after one of the most dynamic portfolios in Australia. Working with teams across the business, we provide a range of services from site acquisition, leasing and renewals, through to development, construction and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop feasibility models for all property acquisitions, developments, and divestments
  2. Prepare complex financial reports involving property economics
  3. Liaise with State Property teams on acquisition, development and divestment programs
  4. Assess commercial risks, rewards and develop a clear delivery and exit strategy (including timelines) for all acquisitions
  5. Manage balance sheet asset strategy and internal valuation processes
  6. Maintain tools and research to assist the Property team achieve goals
  7. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing improved efficiencies and better ways of working.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a Property, Business or a related discipline
  • Experience working in an analytically focused role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A strategic and analytical mindset to solve problems and make recommendations
  • The ability to undertake data analysis and communicate findings effectively
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with emphasis on property transactions, property numbers, property valuations and development feasibilities
  • Autonomy and accountability for activity, reporting and targets.
  • Familiarity with Estate Master modelling tool is a plus.
