About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for integrated project controls including cost, change and risk management, and overseeing planning and schedule management.
  • Responsible for project controls earned value assessments and reporting, and deep dives to ensure controls deliverables and processes meet internal and contractual requirements for the projects.
  • Main point of contact and accountability for ensuring the project controls requirements of the Project Director are achieved to a high standard.
  • Interact with client/delivery partners' project controls as required to meet performance targets and to ensure sound controls services and results are delivered.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Commerce or similar).
  • High level commercial, business acumen, and problem solving skills.
  • Specific and substantial experience in similar Project Controls roles and processes including Cost and Change Control, project risk and performance assessment.
  • Proven capacity to manage stakeholder relationships effectively and producing customer centric outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in similar roles in engineering and construction projects (Infrastructure, Energy, Power/Transmission, Utilities, etc.), and knowledge of project controls methodologies and standards (such as AACE, PMBOK, etc.).
  • Developed negotiation and presentations skills with collaborative and decisive behaviour style.
  • Integrity and commitment to ethical practice, equity and diversity.
  • Skilled in project controls systems and tools, and Excel.
