Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Document Control and Information Management System for the Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective communication and coordination of document control activities.
  • Oversee the organisation, storage, maintenance, and retrieval of electronic and hard copy project documentation, ensuring accessibility and version control.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project-specific contractual obligations related to document control and information management.
  • Train and support project team members on document control procedures and systems, promoting adherence to best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with document control and information management, implementing controls to prevent data loss or unauthorised access.
  • Facilitate change management processes for project documentation, including the revision, approval, and dissemination of updated documents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Management, Document Control, or Engineering, coupled with proven experience in document control or information management, preferably within the infrastructure or construction industry.

You will also need to possess proficiency in document control software and systems, such as Documentum, SharePoint, or similar platforms, along with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to document control and information management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders, while demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience leading a team or managing projects, are necessary to drive success in this role.
