We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Professional to join our team at the Spotlight Property Group. This role will provide administrative and accounting support, as well as assist with day-to-day tasks and projects, invoice workflows & month-end/year-end accounting procedures.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a dynamic retail group in a collaborative environment where you'll make a tangible impact on our business.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Australian and NZ tax and compliance, proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Yardi preferred), advanced analytical skills and commercial acumen, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the monthly P&L for Australian and NZ properties
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insightful commentary
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly and quarterly BAS/GST
  • Conduct monthly general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assist with year-end tenant outgoings and outgoings audits
  • Support commercial tendering processes with data and insights
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive change
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results

Requirements
  • Must have proven experience in property accounting
  • Strong knowledge of Australian and NZ tax and compliance
