Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Climate Risk Expert to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of climate change and develop strategies to mitigate its impacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative climate risk assessments and scenario analysis for various industries and sectors.
  • Develop and implement decarbonisation and net-zero strategies for clients across different regions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver climate-related services, including climate hazard modelling and financial quantification of climate risks and opportunities.
  • Provide high-quality client-ready deliverables and present to senior leadership teams for review.
Requirements
  • Mastery's degree and/or PhD in Science, Environment, Sustainability, Engineering or Environmental Economics (desirable).
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, modelling, and metric development.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as MATLAB, Python, R, or ArcGIS, along with an understanding of tools like git.
  • Knowledge of climate change and climate-related risk in policy, research, financial, or corporate contexts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and strengthen client relationships.
