Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Climate Data Analyst to join our Climate Resilience Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in researching climate change at global, regional, and local levels.

Your Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough research on climate change impacts and adaptation strategies.
    • Collect, manage, and analyze large datasets related to environmental risks and natural hazards.
    • Develop and maintain standards, policies, and quality assurance protocols for climate data products.
    • Build and validate complex computer models to simulate climate change scenarios and natural hazard events.
    • Conduct spatial analysis to identify potential impacts and hazards, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
    • Stay informed about legislative and regulatory frameworks related to climate resilience and disclosures.

About You

    • Key Skills and Experience
    • Proven experience with Python programming or other similar programming languages.
    • Experience in developing models related to natural catastrophes and analyzing climate-related risks.
    • Understanding of climate change concepts and risk assessment methodologies.
    • Experience working with climate data, geospatial data, and large-scale numerical models.
    • Proficiency in data management, quality assurance, and statistical analysis.
    • Relevant qualifications in environmental engineering, statistics, climate science, or related fields.
