We are seeking a skilled Climate Risk Management Specialist to join our Commodities and Global Markets team at Macquarie. As an Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing a deep understanding of our financed emissions and identifying potential actions to address them.

This pivotal role requires the diligent extraction of data and its thorough documentation for audit purposes. You will use advanced models for emissions data processing to ensure both the precision of our financed emissions reporting and effectiveness of our sustainability initiatives.

You will be responsible for coordinating internal and external reporting for Net Zero and Climate Risk while acting as a vital conduit for central support functions. Your engagement with senior Commodities and Global Markets stakeholders around financed emissions net zero target setting and climate strategy is also essential.

Key qualifications include tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting/actuary studies or a relevant discipline with a strong academic record, 2+ years' experience in a similar role with an understanding of relevant frameworks and governance, advanced Excel skills, and a keen interest in climate and sustainability.
