Job Summary

This role involves providing top-notch technical support to ensure the smooth operation of software systems.

  • Maintain existing software environments, troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions.
  • Track and document all customer interactions, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, providing excellent communication and issue resolution.
  • Triage technical issues, conducting code-level troubleshooting and identifying effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain system availability and integrity in a 24/7 environment.
  2. Ensure software consistency across environments and test new products before production.
  3. Monitor third-party maintenance providers and meet contract commitments.
  4. Document procedures and assist in reviewing SOPs.
Requirements
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Computer Science or related field;
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience;
  • Database server management experience including troubleshooting, navigation and diagnosis.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Public Safety industry.
  • Experience working in an IT vendor/service management environment.
Technical Competence
  • Strong customer service focus and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Analytical approach to solving technical problems.
  • Ability to communicate issues and resolutions clearly.
