System Software Specialist Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced developer to provide support for customer applications, create enhancements and implement solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot incidents and provide technical code fixes and data fixes to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Develop program enhancements based on functional requirements and user stories, ensuring high-quality and reliable software solutions.
  • Ensure unit tests are created and executed for all code changes prior to peer review, guaranteeing the highest standards of coding excellence.
  • Complete peer reviews before migration of data fixes, code changes, and enhancements, fostering a collaborative and efficient development environment.
  • Identify recurrent incidents and perform root cause analysis to provide permanent solutions, minimizing downtime and ensuring maximum system availability.
  • Maintain documentation for all programs, systems, and procedures, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and adherence to industry standards.
  • Ensure SLAs are met and customer expectations exceeded, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Follow established systems, processes, and methodologies as specified, ensuring consistency and reliability in all aspects of software development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies including MS REDIS, MS SQL, and MS Remote Desktop (RDS), ensuring expertise in modern software development tools and platforms.
  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory, and current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance; NV2 preferred, demonstrating commitment to security and compliance.
