We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Guest Service Host to join our team at Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney. As a Guest Service Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, creating memorable experiences, and representing the brand's ethos in every interaction.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create warm and personalized guest interactions that reflect our brand's commitment to community connection and self-expression.
- Support the setup and launch of front office operations, including kiosk check-in, lobby layout, and service flows.
- Assist with arrivals, departures, billing, luggage handling, and Grab & Go sales in a relaxed and helpful manner.
- Stay front-of-house and available to respond to guest needs, questions, and feedback.
- Contribute to a tidy, lively, and inclusive lobby space that feels like a local hangout.
- Share insider tips and local recommendations to connect guests with the Haymarket community.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and guest privacy standards are met at all times.
- Support other departments when needed and participate in team training, meetings, and culture-building activities.
- Prior experience in a front office or guest-facing hospitality role is preferable, but not essential.
- You must be personable, confident, and able to engage with guests and create genuine connections.
- Staying calm and solutions-focused in a dynamic environment is crucial.
- You should be proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently and in a team.
- Full work rights and flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster (including weekends and nights) are required.
