Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Review Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with Corporate Counsel to review contracts, identify key clauses for negotiation, and provide expert advice on contract matters.

About the Role
  • Review and assess contracts proposed by clients or subconsultants and identify key clauses for negotiation.
  • Liaise with the business regarding negotiating key clauses.
  • Deal with general contract queries from business units.

The Contract Review Specialist will also have the opportunity to get involved in assisting Corporate Counsel with claims and disputes as well as implementing process improvements to ensure an efficient and "fit for purpose" contract review function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completion of contract reviews against existing company guidelines to mitigate any potential legal risk.
  • Undertake legal research for the APAC Risk Management team.
  • Assist with review of project correspondence on claims.
  • Preparation of legal documents, forms, and contracts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You should also be keen to learn, curious about contract clauses, well-organized, and able to manage deadlines effectively.
