Senior Health and Safety Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team at Randstad. As a Senior Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on our rail projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough site safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement risk assessments and control measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a positive safety culture.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Facilitate safety training and inductions for new staff and ongoing training sessions for all personnel.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on safety performance, incidents, and audits.
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a HSE Advisor role, preferably in the rail or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management practices, and safety protocols.
