We are seeking a talented Data Insights Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and shaping the industry towards a waste-free future.
Your primary responsibility will be to clean, format, and maintain master datasets used across the business. You will also write and optimize SQL queries (Snowflake) to extract data for analysis and reporting, as well as design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and data models that provide insight to support decision making.
In addition, you will perform data manipulation, modelling, and preparing ad-hoc analyses in Excel to support internal stakeholders and business units. You will also assist in identifying data quality issues and proactively suggest improvements, documenting data sources, business definitions, and reporting logic to support data governance.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Information Systems, Business, etc.).
- Experience with Power BI (report creation, visuals, and DAX basics).
- Understanding of data cleaning and data structure best practices.
- Experience with tools and technologies such as: Excel, Power Query, Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Snowflake viewed favourably.
- Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines across multiple priorities.
- Analytical thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
