Business Intelligence Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can think strategically, understand business challenges, and create analytics solutions that empower the business to make informed decisions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and reporting, with experience using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

The ideal candidate will be able to deliver actionable insights, build high-impact reporting solutions, and manage ad hoc requests from multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clear findings that inform business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports.
  • Manage day-to-day data and reporting needs from multiple business units.
  • Write, optimise, and debug SQL queries.
  • Engage with stakeholders across different departments.
  • Validate data sources and maintain accuracy in all reports and dashboards.
  • Presentation of insights through compelling visualisations and narratives.
  • Contribute to the company's data-driven culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in business intelligence, insights, or analytics.
  • Strong experience with BI tools.
  • Excellent SQL skills.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and AWS cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Ability to go beyond dashboards to deliver insight-led recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Naturally curious mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
