We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Business Development and Engagement team at The University of Queensland. As a leader, you will play a key role in securing and growing commercial development projects for our International Development unit. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of staff, contributing to development projects, and identifying new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a business development strategy to identify, assess, and manage business development opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance on business development, engagement, and technical advisory work.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including strategic collaboration with the Global Development Hub.
- Contribute to budget preparation and ensure revenue and engagement targets are met.
- Develop and refine tools, systems, and processes for efficient business development, including cost pricing, personnel management, and tender documentation.
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in international development and business development. You will have a degree and postgraduate qualifications in a development-related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and training with at least 5 years of management experience. You will also have significant knowledge and experience in the field of international development and/or international capacity building, including tendering to secure business.
