About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Account Management professional with a strong technical background in machining to join our small sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to accurately quote all aspects of jobs, identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, manage jobs from quoting to delivery, and write detailed technical reports.
Your sales efforts will be supported by an engineering facility with advanced machining capability and extensive technical and engineering support.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum of three years' experience in sales and account management
- Prior experience in Quoting and Estimating
- Demonstratable experience in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work successfully autonomously, as well as in a team environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- Mechanical or Trade Qualifications is desirable though not essential
- Project Management experience is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and of ERP software (Pronto preferred)
